However, this is a rather peculiar one.
It isn’t a fleece blanket, and neither is it a fleece bed.
It appears more of a dome-like basket than anything else.
Despite the title claiming it’s a rat/hamster bed, I’m very convinced that a guinea pig(being from the same family) would do just fine with one of these.
What’s more, is that with this product, a blanket may not be necessary for your furry friend as it’s made from fleece and is warm, soft, and cozy.
Provided your cage is spacious, this should be an addition to an already padded bottom, to absorb fluids and other excretions.
Thus, cleaning this fleece bed may not be required as frequently as if you just had a padded, fleeced bottom or a bunch of fleece blankets.

I was in awe after I saw this product, and I want to share it with you.
Made in the US by Piggy Bedspreads, this padded fleece blanket is sure to blow you away, as it is perfect to use for a c cage.
Firstly, it needs to be said that these come in two sizes: single, and double.
But, what does that mean, you may ask?
Well, let’s just say that the single comes with two paddings, and the double comes with four paddings.
Confused? I was too.
You see, the single-size offering comes with two pads.
One that goes at the bottom of the cage, and one that can be attached to the side of the c cage at a height of your choosing.
The two pads are connected to each by a mini ramp, allowing your guinea pig to access and use both pads.
Think of the second, smaller pads as a balcony.
For the double-size offering, the size is the same – you’re just getting another set of the same thing.
Now, this is great if you have a very large cage with more than two or three guinea pigs and want to make sure that each has access to at least one or two pads at any given time.
